Stian Carstensen is coming to NordAccordion! As a solo artist he performs everything from hillbilly, baroque, and self-made humorous shows with more or less bizarre themes.
His repertoire ranges from folk music to classical and improvisational music in various forms. Stian is perhaps best known from the band "Farmers Market" which received the Spellemann Prize in open class in 2009 and 2012, but also from the program "Landeplage" together with Ravi. He has performed as a soloist with KORK, Metropole Orkestra, Trondheim Symfoniorkester, Wärmland Operas Orkester, Stavanger Symfoniorkester, Huaröds Kammerorkester, Det Norske Kammerorkester and Kristiansand Symfoniorkester.
