Saturday 10 August, 9:00 pm – Tre Brør
Aleksander Nohr (baritone), Sigrid Vetleseter Bøe (soprano), Ida Løvli Hidle (accordion)
What can possibly be better than spending the Saturday evening at Voss’ ”hyggelige” café and bar, listening to the opera world’s most beautiful arias, accompanied by accordion and a cold beverage? At the opera pub the setting is intimate, and the audience are seated close to the performers in an informal atmosphere.
The singers that will guide you through this evening are both rising stars at the international opera sky. Aleksander Nohr (baritone) is a regular guest at The Norwegian National Opera as well as several national and international opera companies. He also has long experience with opera pubs from Underwater and Kjerringøy Bryggeopera, and he loves to mix genres and styles.
Sigrid Vetleseter Bøe (soprano) is from Bøfjorden in Nordmøre. She is currently living in Berlin where she is working as an opera- and concert singer. It’s Sigrid’s first visit at the NordAccordion Festival and she is looking very much forward to meet the NordAccordion audience.
Ida Løvli Hidle is a premiered accordionist, and has received great reviews all over the world for her performances and CD’s. In addition to working as a freelance soloist and camber musician, she has specialised in accompanying singers. She is one of the organisers of Kjerringøy Bryggeopera, and has worked as a Kapellmeister at Malmø Opera in several occasions.
Welcome to an evening filled with highlights from the opera, folk and musical repertoire, and maybe even some surprises!
